Fantail.cloud originally arose out of a necessity to provide a better platform for our client's WordPress websites.
Having built, run, and then sold a datacentre in a previous business, we were aware of the many speed, reliability and security concerns surrounding website hosting.
Many of the major web hosts seem to be on a race to the bottom on price.
Something has to give when this happens and it seems to often be performance. Particularly with a product like WordPress that works best with an optimally configured hosting platform.
We were determined to manage our own server hardware and software in order to provide the best possible platform for WordPress websites.
The natural progression was then to offer the same optimal service to others wishing to host WordPress and eCommerce sites.
